From Jonathan Ernst:
I know there’s nothing photojournalists like more than a good crowdsourcing opportunity, and I’m desperately trying to crowdsource a fixed leg for the man who I hired as my fixer on my first-ever overseas story in Liberia years ago. He hasn’t walked in more than 3 years after a terrible motorbike accident and has run out options for treatment in Liberia.
He became an ordained Lutheran pastor after the war, and I’m working with a small group of U.S. Lutheran pastors to get him treated as part of a larger campaign. We need to raise about $5,000 in the next two weeks for his surgery in India.
Please consider checking out my videos about him, helping if you can (even $10 or 20 bucks would go a long way!) or passing the word along to friends and family you think might be interested to help radiate the message outward.
