Dan Westergren is based in Washington, D.C., where he spends his days as a senior editor of National Geographic Traveler magazine, looking at pictures of some of the most beautiful places in the world. Learn about Dan’s creative process in a discussion with documentarian Larry Levin, then participate in a Q&A afterward.

Although Dan’s work as a photographer has taken him to amazing places like the summit of Mt. Blanc and the North Pole, he is also an experienced teacher. Dan has led photography workshops for National Geographic Expeditions in Santa Fe, Tuscany, Baja, Antarctica, the Arctic, and the Galápagos Islands.
