As photographers, we love to “let the pictures do the talking” because “a picture is worth a thousand words.” We rely on our websites, PDF portfolios, email blasts, and blogs. However, when it comes to marketing ourselves, the actual words we speak face-to-face with potential clients will often make or break the opportunity. Whether it’s during a formal presentation or a chance encounter, being prepared will make the difference between success and failure.
