Socially concerned photographers are invited to participate in the first annual PhotoPhilanthropy Activist Awards.
PhotoPhilanthropy is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and activism in social causes through photography. The PhotoPhilanthropy Activist Awards allow student, amateur and professional photographers to capture the work of a local or global not-for-profit organization through the creation of an engaging Photo Essay.
A large percentage of the Photo Essays submitted will appear on our website at www.photophilanthropy.org. The top Photo Essays in each category will also receive cash prizes. For professional photographers, there is one $5,000 Grand Prize, for Students and Amateurs, one Grand Prize of $500.
