Who doesn’t want to shoot an eating contest?!?!:
First, on Sunday we’re (On Tap) hosting a Skins game viewing party at
Ireland’s Four Fields in Cleveland Park, right by the aptly named Cleveland
Park Metro stop (Red Line). They’ll be beating up on the Eagles, with
kickoff at 1 p.m. At halftime of the game (predicted score: Skins 21, Eagles
3 plus one or two felonies) we’ll have the final round of our Beck’s and
Brats brat eating competition. The finalists are competing for $1,000 in
cash prizes, plus prize packs like four tickets to a Skins home game and
limo transportation. **You can still get in on it! We’ll be adding a “Last
Team In” just before the contest. All you have to do is sign up before half
time. The contest is relay style, four members to a team. Each person gets
four brats (no buns) and has to eat them as quickly as possible. When
they’re done, the next person goes. First team to finish wins. Can’t finish
your brats? You can pass them on to the next person. Big O from the Big O
and Dukes show is going to be hosting and MC’ing the action.

Second, on Tuesday we’re having our next On Tap Food for Thought dinner.
This one is at Dogfish Head Alehouse in Falls Church (right at Seven
Corners). Four-course dinner with beer pairings from their own microbrews.
